> ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY STATEMENT

CIBS provides interior and exterior landscaping services and contract floral arrangements for corporate clients.

We are committed to reducing the environmental impacts associated with our service whilst preventing pollution. We will achieve this commitment by implementing the following environmental objectives:

• Reduce our use of Peat as viable alternatives become available
• Dispose of waste in a responsible manner;
• Recycle 100% of all green waste and paper waste produced. Other waste will be recycled where possible.
• To only use environmentally friendly fertilisers and herbicides responsibly and keep usage of both down to a minimum.
• Ensure that our drivers drive their vehicles efficiently, reduce trips where possible and ensure vehicles are regularly serviced to keep emissions to a minimum.
• Ensuring that energy generated from fossil fuels are used efficiently.
• To ensure that all wood is obtained from sustainable sources unless operational requirements dictate otherwise.

In addition we are committed to complying with the requirements of our client’s environmental management systems and will do so upon request.

The above environmental objectives will be reviewed on an annual basis to ensure that they are relevant and continue to facilitate our environmental performance improvement.
